Hello, and the Holiday Season is once again upon us. First, I want to announce the news. Effective from December 1st through the 31st, we are offering a 15% discount on all items available from Time Machine Miniatures. New Releases
We have three new releases this month that you can see in our catalog sections. These releases are as follows:
DS-TW11 Into the Mists of Time
As the Roman Baggage Train winds its way through the forest paths The Germans attack. Stunned and unprepared the civilians following the camp are slaughtered and much of the contents of their wagons are looted. Hundreds of these wagons were destroyed during the Varus disaster. A Roman slave stands above his young mistress as she looks on in horror at the developing massacre. A German Warrior taking a moment to enjoy the fruits of his destruction is unaware of the Roman Legionary preparing to kill him with his entrenching tool. A Greek medical doctor or perhaps a scribe in roman employ lies prone attempting to save his scrolls, is mercilessly attacked by a Germanic Warrior while the oxen team look about and stand aimlessly.
The center piece vignette in Series II, Into the Mists of Time attempts to paint the picture of this action and is dedicated to Major Tony Clunn whose discovery of the Battle Field and his subsequent book, The Quest for the Lost Roman Legions were the inspiration for the Teutoburger Series II kits.
An additional Germanic figure is included in the first 50 kits as a bonus.

Fantasy Series FS
The first in a three part set of fantasy vignettes, Sacrifice depicts and explores the mystery of human magic and sacrifice. Here the elegant and alluring beauty of the feminine form is captured in a stunning composition.

British Colonial Series BCS-4 Captain Souter
The fourth release in this series depicting, The Last Stand at Gandamak. A some point during the closing action Captain Souter wrapped the colors around his waist to prevent them from being captured. The Afghans upon seeing this thought that he might be a high ranking official and rather than kill him dragged him away to be use as a ransom hostage. Souter was later exchanged as were many of the other Officers, their wives and family member. Lady Sale one of the hostages given up early in the Retreat wrote a first hand account of her experiences of the march. Her book, A Journal of the First Afghan War is a compelling story of the Retreat and Confinement and the suffering endured.
Next, we have added two new sections to our catalog which are Books and Downloads. We have added to this section the new Teutoburger Wald Booklet written by Kevin Townsend and featuring all the miniatures from our kits. This book is available either as a printed book for $60.00 or can be downloaded and read as a PDF. Check out this work and you can see the diorama as it comes together and how Kevin constructed his masterpiece.
