He Spent Much Of His Life Attempting To Rally The Many Disparate Indian Tribes Into A Single Unified Political Body For A Mutual Defense Of Their Lands Against White Encroachment. He Was Admired In His Day And Remains An Icon For Native Americans And A National Hero In Canada.
